Job summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support the front desk at our outpatient physical therapy clinic in New Jersey. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, assist with the check-in kiosk, and perform basic administrative tasks.

This patient-facing role does not involve insurance verification or extensive phone responsibilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills are required.
• Ability to handle payments accurately.
• Willingness to learn scheduling and check-in systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk.
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed.
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork.
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents.
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions.
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance.
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized.
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned.
