Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products, verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders and maintain accurate inventories.
• Ensure distribution and receiving in a timely, orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (cleanliness, safety, security).

Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Part-time Warehouse Worker in the Youngwood, PA area. This position is scheduled early morning shifts with Sundays and Tuesdays as days off.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
