Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker, Part-time. Must be able to work mornings and Saturday hours.

The role involves receiving products, verifying details, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventories in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience preferred.
• Great work ethic and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Capable of maintaining a fast pace and multi-tasking.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure timely distribution.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and communicate issues to management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
