Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker to join our team in a full-time role, five days a week with half-day Saturdays. This position supports receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will lift up to 50 lbs, work in temperature extremes, and thrive on multi-tasking with a strong work ethic. AVI emphasizes growth opportunities and a family culture.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic is desired.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
