Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work early start times and Saturdays 3 am–9 am.
• Willingness to operate in temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products entering the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure timely distribution/receiving.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies; report issues to management.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This position requires an early start time and must be able to work Saturdays from 3 am to 9 am.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
