Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker to join our Ohio distribution team. This is a full-time role, working five days a week with half-day Saturdays.

You will participate in all warehouse receiving and distribution functions, and help ensure accurate inventories and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include receiving products, verifying quantities, stocking orders, assembling and filling shipments, and maintaining security and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in large food warehouse is preferred.
• A strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multitask.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
