Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, a nationwide food service leader, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for full-time work five days a week with half-days on Saturdays, in Ohio. You will participate in all warehouse distribution and receiving functions, verify product details, fill and ship orders, stock inventories and maintain accuracy under a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior large food warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic is required.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (e.g. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
