Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Walton, KY is seeking a Plant Operator. You will lift heavy bins, weigh incoming waste, operate an autoclave and Washsmart system, and complete precise paperwork. A team-focused, safety-conscious attitude is essential for daily operations on a 3rd shift.

The role is full-time with benefits from day one, sick and vacation leave, and a direct-hire path. PPE and routine repetitive tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job.
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and wearing PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.

Responsibilities

• Lift 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart up to 200lbs.
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
• Load/operate autoclave machine (pressure chamber to melt materials).
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization).
• Ensure paperwork is accurate to process containers.
• Stand for extended periods and work well with a team.

We are looking to hire an operator for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Walton, KY.

What will your job involve?

Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials) Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system) Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!) Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening Willingness to take a 7 year background check Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE Proven longevity with employers Can-do attitude!!
