Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse operations and donation processing. This role includes loading/unloading, pricing merchandise, tracking production, and maintaining a clean, organized facility.

You will gain hands-on experience in warehousing, learn safety procedures, and have opportunities to mentor program beneficiaries in work therapy development. Paid training and on-the-job coaching are provided.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
• Price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track production numbers and complete reports
• Maintain organized work areas and a clean environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Assist donors with donation drop-offs
• Complete donation receipts accurately
• Collect and track donor information
• Process various types of donations (clothing and accessories, household items, electronics, furniture and antiques, jewelry and collectibles)
• May be trained to operate baler, compactor, forklift, elevator and other warehouse equipment
• Paid training on processing standards and warehouse procedures
• Ongoing coaching and support from Warehouse leadership
• Opportunity to build retail and customer service skills

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. This dynamic role combines hands‑on warehouse operations with the opportunity to mentor and support program beneficiaries in their work therapy development. You'll help maintain an organized warehouse while making a meaningful impact in people's lives.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
