Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in the United States is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate for full-time hours, with a 7:30am–4:00pm shift and 40 hours per week. You will help move donations through warehouse processes, price merchandise, and assist donors while learning processing standards and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
• Price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track production numbers and complete reports
• Maintain organized work areas and clean environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Assist donors with donation drop-offs
• Complete donation receipts accurately
• Collect and track donor information
• Process various types of donations including clothing and accessories, household items, electronics, furniture and antiques, jewelry and collectibles

What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
• Price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track production numbers and complete reports
• Maintain organized work areas and clean environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Assist donors with donation drop-offs
• Complete donation receipts accurately

Equipment Operation

May be trained to operate:

• Baler
• Compactor
• Elevator
• Other warehouse equipment

Training Provided

• Paid training on processing standards and warehouse procedures
• Ongoing coaching and support from Warehouse leadership
