HireGenics, Inc. in Newton, MA is hiring a Hybrid Warehouse Worker / Cleanroom Operator for 1st shift 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

This role supports warehouse operations and controlled cleanroom manufacturing in a regulated production environment. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing materials; picking, packaging, labeling; inventory transactions; and maintaining traceability while adhering to GMP/ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or cleanroom experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device/pharma) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cleanroom PPE.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Pick and issue materials for production orders.
• Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Maintain organized locations and material traceability.
• Follow GMP, ISO, and quality procedures.
• Support packaging, labeling, and documentation in cleanroom.

The Hybrid Warehouse Worker / Cleanroom Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and cleanroom manufacturing activities in a regulated production environment. This role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials while also performing product assembly, packaging, inspection, and related activities within a controlled cleanroom environment. The position requires strict adherence to safety, quality, cleanliness, and regulatory requirements.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and components.
• Pick, stage, and issue materials for production orders.
• Perform inventory transactions using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain organized warehouse locations and ensure material traceability.
• Package and prepare products for internal transfer or shipment.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Follow FIFO, Kanban, and inventory control processes.

Cleanroom Operations

• Follow cleanroom gowning procedures and contamination control requirements.
• Assemble, inspect, package, and label products according to approved work instructions.
• Perform equipment setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance activities.
• Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and in real time.
• Conduct visual inspections and report quality concerns or nonconformances.
• Support production schedules while maintaining established quality standards.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO, and company quality system requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with cleanroom standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and traceability of materials and finished goods.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with audits, process improvements, and corrective actions as assigned.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workplace organization.

Qualifications

• Education
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience
• 1-3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or cleanroom experience preferred.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory transactions preferred.
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Working Conditions

Work Environment: Manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment depending on product requirements. May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to controlled manufacturing processes.
