Job summary

HireGenics, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Buffalo Grove, IL for 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). Pay is $18.38 per hour. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, and shipping support, with emphasis on accuracy and inventory control. No forklift experience required; on-site work with occasional travel to Elgin.

Candidate should be able to lift up to 55 pounds, read numbers on scanners, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Benefits are available per eligibility.

HireGenics is immediately hiring a Material Handler inBufflo Grove, IL

Pay: $18.38 per hour.

The position will be for 1st shift

Schedule 6am to 2:30 pm

• Picking up boxes up to 55 pounds
• Put boxes on carts and palette.
• Stack boxes
• Read, count, and pay attention to details.
• Read and match number on scanner and count the number of products completed.
• Will be using calculator and scanner.
• Forklift experience no required.
• On feet all day long but breaks and lunch
• Going up and down stairs and walking around facility.

• Perform receiving duties with accuracy and efficiency.

• Support picking, packing, and shipping operations at the Buffalo Grove site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks to maintain inventory accuracy and order quality. Requirements:
• Proven experience in receiving and material handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Production, picking, shipping, … experience is a plus Provides material handling support to warehouse, quality and production departments to ensure on time receipt and delivery of material.
• Is responsible for safe and damage-free movement of material by use of pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Has ability to diagnose basic inventory discrepancies.
• Has knowledge of material handling work procedures, pick lists, and protocols.
• Works under the direction of supervisor and in the support of warehouse, quality and production team leads and senior assembly personnel.
• Reliable transportation for occasional travel to Elgin (approx. 45 minutes from Buffalo Grove).
