Job summary

Misfits Market is hiring a Certified Trainer to train new hires and evaluate initial performance. You will support onboarding, coach peers, and assist in material updates. The role reports to the department manager and requires organizing on-the-floor sessions with hourly associates.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, experience in training groups, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Expect schedule Wednesday through Saturday, with overtime and weekend as needed, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent desirable
• Experience training peers or groups desirable
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of 5+ people desirable
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized
• Written and verbal communication skills
• High Influencing
• Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; Experience in fast paced environment
• Strong relationship building skills

Responsibilities

• Train department peers on floor using approved materials.
• Conduct on-the-floor training and cross-training for hourly associates.
• Evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure training documentation is completed timely.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support new hires.
• Collaborate on updating training materials.
• Maintain high availability to meet training needs daily.
