Job summary

Misfits Market is hiring a Certified Trainer to support onboarding, train new hires, and evaluate early performance. You will conduct on-the-floor and cross-department training using approved materials and act as a friendly point-of-contact for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience training peers or groups desirable.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of students (5+ people) desirable.
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• High influencing ability.
• Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; experience in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates utilizing approved training materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
• Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.
