Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking an organized Certified Trainer to grow their career by supporting the onboarding and training of new hires. You will evaluate initial trainee performance, provide peer coaching, and assist in onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration into the team.

The role reports to the department manager and involves conducting on-the-floor and cross-training across hourly associates, using approved materials.

Qualifications

• Experience training peers or groups desirable.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups (5+ people) desirable.
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reports to department manager and assists with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates using approved materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance per training materials.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and timely.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires.
• Collaborate on updating or identifying training material needs.
• Maintain high availability to carry out training needs daily.
