Job summary

Ferguson in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Distribution Center Warehouse Trainer to oversee onboarding and training for new hires and cross-training across the warehouse. You will lead orientation, coordinate schedules, and ensure SOP adherence.

You will conduct on-the-job training, deliver safety programs for PIT equipment, and mentor associates while tracking progress and coordinating with Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have prior training experience in a warehouse or distribution environment with safety program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial orientation and training schedule for new hires and transfers.
• Conduct on-the-job training for DC associates and cross-training.
• Train on safety requirements within the warehouse.
• Perform one-on-one training on warehouse operations and WMS processes.
• Audit training adherence to SOPs and track training status for each associate.
• Meet with Operations Manager and leaders to provide feedback and improvements.
• Lead PIT training including initial and recertification.
• Mentor less experienced associates and deliver recurrent safety training.
