Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Fulton, MS is seeking a Trainer to transform new hires into confident, capable associates. You will lead orientation, map training schedules, and deliver hands-on training across departments while upholding safety and SOPs.

You will work with the General Manager and department leaders to continually improve learning programs, track progress, and certify PIT training across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years training or mentoring in a warehouse/distribution setting.
• Hands-on experience operating and training on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment.
• A track record of building strong safety programs.
• Experience with Ferguson or similar supply chain operations.
• Flexibility to train across multiple shifts.
• Sharp organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire orientation and map out training schedules.
• Facilitate hands-on training for DC associates across departments.
• Teach warehouse safety requirements the right way, every time.
• Provide one-on-one coaching on job-specific tasks and WMS processes.
• Audit work to ensure SOPs and training standards are followed.
• Partner with the GM and department leaders to spot improvement opportunities.
• Track each associate's training progress accurately and consistently.
• Own all PIT training including initial certification, recertification, and retraining.
• Keep safety certifications current with refresher training.
• Mentor associates and help them build confidence in their roles.
