Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Lead in Dallas to coach and mentor team members in selecting, replenishing, receiving, and loading products for customer orders. The role focuses on safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with emphasis on reducing mis-picks and improving inventory control.

You will drive KPI performance across Safety, Quality, Service and Cost while maintaining the warehouse’s physical condition and security.

Qualifications

• Leads by example to inspire and coach teams.
• Knowledge of SOPs in warehouse distribution and inventory control.
• Able to read and explain performance data and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to meet safety, quality, service and cost KPIs.
• Identify and remove obstacles for individuals and teams.
• Communicate expectations and policies clearly across shifts.
• Develop associates through coaching and training on procedures and equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and coordinate with safety to resolve them.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and optimize operations.
• Coach staff on voice and scanning systems to improve accuracy.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and enforce security procedures.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs and replacements.
• Plan schedules and workloads across multiple shifts and teams.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety requirements are followed.
