Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead Supervisors and frontline staff at our Illinois Logistics Center. You will coach the team to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets while aligning with company goals and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include developing leaders, maintaining organization and safety culture, managing staffing with HR, and driving continuous improvements on-site to support customers and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams and supervising staff.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations in distribution/manufacturing.
• Commitment to safety and a proactive safety mindset.
• Excellent planning, interpersonal and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership across the team and partner with other departments.
• Train, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors for performance.
• Deliver safe, efficient operations and drive improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing levels in partnership with HR and budget planning.
• Lead meetings and maintain clear, transparent communication on the floor.
• Support inventory counts, quality audits, and cross-functional projects.
• Foster a union-free workplace and align operations with company goals.
