Job summary

LifeWork Search is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in the Dallas area to lead receiving, inventory control, and material flow across a multi-client operation. This role emphasizes safety, productivity, and accountability on the warehouse floor while coordinating inbound logistics and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in warehouse management, experience with WMS and MS Office, and a track record of driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, 3PL-style environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with WMS and MS Office; knowledge of 6S/Six Sigma beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, inventory control, and material movement.
• Spend majority of time on the warehouse floor ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and accountability.
• Oversee inbound receiving, unloading, inspection, and dock scheduling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across customer accounts with location management and cycle counting.
• Own warehouse KPIs including receiving, labor vs deliveries, and storage utilization.
• Manage equipment readiness, maintenance, and operator certifications.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, housekeeping, security, and compliance.
• Coach and develop warehouse staff and resolve operational issues.
• Drive SOP adherence and continuous improvement across the warehouse.
