Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a proactive operations professional to assist the Section Manager by coordinating workflow, leading team members, and overseeing day-to-day operations in the Large Power Systems Division.

The role involves warehouse tasks, safety adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead multifunctional meetings, track metrics, and ensure timely completion of priorities, while maintaining accurate records and complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills.
• Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to maintain accurate and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments.
• Interface with customers and relay voice of customer to logistics team to improve processes.
• Lead meetings with multifunctional teams to track performance and drive results.
• Oversee zone management through targeted aged inventory and root-cause analysis.
• Lead problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement.
• Track quality metrics and meet safety, quality, velocity and cost goals.
• Lead investigations on customer-reported defects in logistics processes.
• Occasionally operate heavy equipment and perform material handling tasks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and be available for OT when required.
