Qualifications

• Safety: Conducts daily maintenance and keeps tracking safety logs on equipment.
• Warehouse Management: Directs, leads, and performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise.
• Customer Service Management: Demonstrates understanding of service organization values; keeps customer as focal point of team activity.
• Coaching Others: Applies coaching to help others improve skills and performance.
• Effective Communications: Uses verbal and non-verbal communication to share ideas and needs and leads process-improvement dialogue.

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists; perform material handling and warehousing tasks.
• Lead meetings with multifunctional teams to track performance and drive results; set priorities.
• Interface with customer and coordinate voice of customer to logistics team to improve processes and lead investigations on defects.
• Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments and manage zones.
• Lead problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement and manage training matrix for team flexibility.
• Track quality metrics and meet Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost goals; enforce safety policies.
• Safety: lift up to 35 lbs individually (70 lbs with team), work up to 30 ft heights, and endure noisy environments.
