Caterpillar Inc. in Hodges, SC is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to assist the Section Manager in coordinating daily operations and guiding a team of logistics professionals to deliver on-time, accurate shipments.

You will lead cross-functional meetings, set priorities, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement while overseeing inventory, safety, and cost goals; occasional heavy equipment use and warehousing tasks may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient in mathematical and analytical thinking.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to maintain accurate and complete records.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments.
• Interface with customers to capture voice of customer for logistics improvements.
• Lead multi-functional team meetings to track performance and drive results.
• Oversee zone management by targeting aged inventory and leading reconciliations.
• Lead problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement.
• Track quality metrics and meet safety, quality, velocity and cost goals.
• Lead investigations on customer reported defects.
• Perform material handling and warehousing tasks as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; willing to work OT when required.
• Lead daily team meetings and change management; enforce safety policies.
