Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, determine daily workload, set priorities, and direct the team to meet daily objectives while delivering superior service to distribution centers, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include coordinating workload, guiding staff through receiving, put-away, and picking, and mentoring employees. The role emphasizes safety and efficient operations in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years’ warehouse experience, including strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving and shipping and inventory control processes, procedures and practices.
• Must be familiar with related OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors to determine the workload.
• Direct team and provide leadership to meet daily objectives.
• Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
• Unload/load shipments and perform warehouse duties (receiving, put away, replenishment, selection).
• Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.
• Ensure employees perform duties accurately and efficiently.
• Assist management with safety initiatives and other duties as needed.
