Job summary

Sysco (old) is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, determine daily workload, set priorities and direct the team to meet daily objectives while delivering excellent service to distribution centers, customers, and suppliers.

The candidate will lead daily operations, train staff, resolve issues, and ensure safety guidelines are followed. A high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of warehouse experience with knowledge of receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors to determine daily, weekly, monthly workload.
• Direct team to meet daily objectives and provide leadership in operations.
• Assist with exceptions, training, and safety initiatives.
• Unloading/loading of shipments, put away, receiving, selection, and counts.
• Communicate issues to Supervisor and assess new employees.
