Job summary

Sysco Anchorage is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to determine daily workload, set priorities and guide a team to meet daily objectives while ensuring excellent service to customers and suppliers.

The role requires 2–5 years warehouse experience, strong communication, OSHA familiarity, and proficiency with WMS/RF devices. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years warehouse experience with knowledge of import/export receiving, shipping and inventory control.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors to determine daily, weekly, and monthly workload.
• Direct team of employees and provide leadership to meet daily objectives.
• Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
• Unloading/loading of shipments, put away, replenishment, and receiving a selection of products.
• Conduct item demand/count checks and communicate issues to Supervisor.
• Train and assess new employees; ensure accuracy and efficiency.
