Job summary

Volt is hiring for a Warehouse Support in Fountain Valley, CA. The role involves receiving materials, labeling, and coordinating with QA and Purchasing, while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.

You will support packing, shipping, and maintenance of a clean, safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in a warehouse setting, understands shipping software, and can read/ write English.

Responsibilities

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Receive in materials and notify QA if they need to be inspected

• Assist with warehouse projects
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established manufacturing and safety procedures
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted; beyond this requires assistance or lifting device
• Ability to stay on feet for prolonged periods
• Ability to work in different climates
• Ability to work hand tools and automated equipment
• Perform repetitive hand and body movements
• Ability to sit and work at a station for prolonged periods
• Learn and follow all safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Report to work healthy and free from alcohol, drugs, or harmful influences
• Participate in safety improvement activities
• Report unsafe practices
• Immediately report injuries and incidents
• Maintain 5S workstation and good housekeeping

• Experience performing kitting, picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately follow work orders, pick lists, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and shipping documentation.
• Experience handling inventory transactions and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify part numbers, quantities, and labeling requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity, quality, and accuracy expectations.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM, OT on Saturdays

Pay Rate

$17.50 - $19.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
