Job summary

Volt is hiring for a Facilities Custodian in Valencia, CA. The role is a first-shift, full-time position with overtime potential. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour and benefits are offered based on eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
• Empty trash, restock restroom supplies, and maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area.
• Maintain facilities and grounds, and stock cleaning supplies.
• Paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.

Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Custodian in Valencia, CA!

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE.
• Lift up to 35lbs.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuum and clean floors as required.
• Empties trash containers and re-lines with plastic bags.
• Stock all restroom facilities with toilet paper and paper towels and soap.
• Maintains cleanliness of restroom sinks, toilets, urinals and mirrors.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains facilities and grounds by cleaning, sweeping, etc.
• Maintains stock of cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
• Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ Years of Experience
• Must pass a drug and background
• Prior experience in manufacturing, janitorial, warehouse, maintenance, or industrial cleaning environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S/6S principles preferred.

This is a 1st shift - 6am to 2:30pm -Full Time Opportunity with OT

Pay Rate $20.00/hr
