Volt is immediately hiring for a 2nd Shift Cherry Fork Lift Operators (Multiple shifts available) Paying $23.00 an hour in Colton, CA.

As a Cherry Fork Lift Operator, you will:

Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operates Raymond or Crown Cherry forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse, comfortable going up 23 feet high
• Lift, pull, push heavy material such as boxed sofas and various types of furniture from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC's
• Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according to product type and dimension
• Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks
• Efficiently pick customer orders
• Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas
• Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location
• Positions product on racking system
• Carry or transports orders to the dock with Cherry Picker Lift
• Able to operate radio frequency equipment
• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
• Inspects the equipment
• Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor
• Meet company standards for productivity
• Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire opportunity. 5 days a week. 8 hours per day.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Min of 1 year experience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Comfortable on lift that goes up 23 feet high
• Proven experience with order picking and inventory selection processes.
• Ability to lift, pull, push heavy material such as boxed sofa and various types of furniture
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a furniture warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience handling bulky, oversized, or high-value furniture products.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
• Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks.

Shifts Available:

2nd shift:

• Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm
• Tues-Sat 3pm-11:30pm
• Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
