Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across the store network. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in freight planning based on customer and inventory needs.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient warehouse practices, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely shipping and receiving while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily scheduling of warehouse personnel for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day activities of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Maintain Storage Buy transactions, track receiving errors, and staging of products.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment operation and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection; manage inventory rotation.
