Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations and lead warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will schedule staff, oversee shipping and receiving, inventory control and safety programs to maintain a productive, safe environment.

You will work closely with Receiving and Inventory Control, manage paperwork flow, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while maintaining a cooperative labor climate.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegation and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
• Solid computer skills and comfort with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, maintenance and inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle disciplinary processes and resolve employee inquiries.
