Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across stores, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and assist the Receiving Supervisor with freight scheduling.

The role focuses on safe, efficient distribution, inventory control, and coordination with other departments to meet customer and inventory needs while maintaining productivity during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning and productivity
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance
• Ensure safety programs and a clean workplace in compliance with OSHA requirements
• Handle employee inquiries and manage disciplinary processes as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations
• Complete activity reports and resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiving reports
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP and inventory rotation
