Nippon Express USA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations on a designated shift, directing staff to ensure efficient service and compliance. The role includes inventory control, training, and maintaining safety standards, with emphasis on accurate records and timely reporting.

The position requires 2–5 years of distribution experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AS-400, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes; English/Spanish bilinguals are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of distribution/warehouse operations experience with prior team lead or supervisory role.
• Good written and verbal skills; strong organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-up.
• Good computer skills (AS-400, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes).
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a professional, positive demeanor.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish speaking/reading/writing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of Warehouse Operations on assigned shift; directs and monitors staff to ensure service, quality & compliance.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, transfers and excellent customer service with minimal damage or losses.
• Maintain inventory controls and records; conduct cycle counts on a set schedule.
• Document, record, and report inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager; train staff in operations, safety, and security.
• Maintain a positive employee relations environment compliant with company policies.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly paperwork in a timely manner.
• Recommend daily staffing requirements based on volume.
