Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations on the assigned shift, directing staff to ensure efficient customer service, safety, and compliance. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and timely reporting.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in warehouse operations with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and basic computer proficiency (AS-400, Word, Excel). Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Two to Five Years’ Distribution / Warehouse Operations Experience, with previous experience in a team leader or supervisory position.
• Good Written & Verbal Skills; Strong organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-up.
• Good computer skills (AS-400, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes).
• Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills, with professional, positive, and Motivated Demeanor.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish speaking / reading / writing a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of Warehouse Operations on assigned shift, including directing and monitoring work of Warehouse staff to ensure effective customer service, quality & compliance.
• Monitor performance of staff to ensure timely pick-ups, deliveries, transfers and excellent customer service with zero damage or losses.
• Maintains effective inventory controls and records to ensure inventory accuracy and conducts cycle counts on predetermined schedule.
• Documents, records and reports all inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager in a timely manner. Trains Warehouse staff in effective operations, safety & security.
• Maintains a positive employee relations environment in compliance with Company policies.
• Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork in a timely manner.
• Recommends daily staffing requirements based on volume.
