Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor in Hayward, CA. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage 15–25 associates, and ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, knowledge of warehouse procedures, and experience with warehouse management software. A focus on safety, efficiency, and high-quality service is essential to support our food distribution operations.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Leads a team of 15–25 warehouse associates including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring.
Ensures timely and accurate order pulling and proper loading of trucks.
Maintains FIFO stock rotation and proper paperwork for shipments.
Monitors productivity and uses warehouse systems to optimize processes.
Enforces safety protocols and builds a secure work environment.
