Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations
• Maintain and service warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs
• Monitor and reconcile paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Ensure products are stored and staged properly and inventories rotate accurately
• Perform related duties as directed by management
