Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Warehouse Supervisor in Michigan to lead daily material flow, ensure safe operations, and drive improvements across the facility. You will supervise a shift of material handlers and forklift drivers, coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and process discipline.

You will mentor teams, enforce 5S principles, and collaborate with MP&L, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 3+ years of logistics, warehouse supervisory, or material flow experience in manufacturing; exposure to automated warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, fleet management, and daily warehouse operations to ensure on-time material delivery.
• Direct shift teams of material handlers and forklift drivers; enforce 5S and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate inventory control, QA collaboration, and ERP/WMS transactions; ensure accuracy and cycle counts.
• Lead and develop personnel; manage scheduling, training, and performance against KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean tools to reduce waste and improve throughput.
