Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Michigan is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily material flow across receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping. You will direct a shift of material handlers and forklift drivers, ensure on-time delivery to production lines, and maintain OSHA-safe, 5S compliant operations.

You will audit inventory in the WMS, enforce FIFO, coach teammates, conduct onboarding, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement using 5-Why and Kaizen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 3+ years in logistics or warehouse supervision in manufacturing.
• Experience with automated warehouse systems (ASRS/AGV) preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, MES, LES).
• 3+ years supervising teams; ability to work nights, weekends, rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, put-away, picking, staging, line delivery and shipping.
• Direct a shift of material handlers and forklift operators; ensure on-time materials to production.
• Enforce safety standards (OSHA/EHS) and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Audit inventory in WMS/ERP; enforce FIFO and track expirations.
• Coach team members, conduct onboarding and standard-work training; track KPIs.
