Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Michigan to lead a shift of material handlers and forklift operators, ensuring safe, efficient inbound/outbound flow and accurate inventory in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.

You will enforce 5S, coach teams, and drive KPIs for accuracy, on‑time delivery, and quality, while coordinating with MP&L, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve bottlenecks. The role requires leadership across shifts and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics or warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to automated warehouse systems (ASRS/AGV).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, MES, LES, etc.).
• 3+ years supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety & fleet management aligning with OSHA/EHS policies.
• Direct shift operations covering receiving, put-away, picking, staging, line delivery and shipping.
• Oversee inventory control, FIFO rotation, and QA collaboration on holds and MRB dispositions.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate material handlers and forklift drivers; manage onboarding and training.
• Track metrics and drive continuous improvement using 5-Why, Fishbone, and Kaizen.
