Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Kentucky to lead daily warehouse operations. You will direct workflow, supervise receiving, packing, and shipping of goods, and ensure DEA compliance and accurate recordkeeping.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with extended hours and weekend rotation as needed. The position is part of our AmerisourceBergen distribution services, focusing on efficient order fulfillment and safe handling of products.

Qualifications

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer science or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors performance of warehouse associates.
• Monitors work processes and suggests modifications to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
• Supports compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Coaches employees to support their development in the role.
• Oversees receipt of merchandise and ensures logs are accurate.
• Oversees counting, weighing and identifying items being shipped; checks against documents.
• Fills orders, double-checks and ships controlled substances with cage/vault staff.
• Maintains records of the delivery process and manifestsRoutes to ensure timely delivery.
• Interacts with customers to resolve delivery or order issues.
• Ensures packing quality and accuracy of controlled substances handling.
• Maintains detailed records of incoming/outgoing controlled substances in cage/vault area.
