Job summary

HERD is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Rogers, Minnesota warehouse team. You will oversee receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping to ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

As a coach and mentor, you will develop staff, participate in recruitment, manage inventory accuracy, and collaborate with Production, Supply Chain and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP software is an asset.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement is an asset.
• Must own safety boots.
• Reliable transportation; HERD is not accessible by public transit.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping products.

• Coordinate warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

• Coach, train, and support warehouse employees to help them perform their roles effectively.

• Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with system records.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.

• Ensure shipping and receiving processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Manage product returns and ensure materials are handled and documented properly.

• Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow and prevent delays.

• Organize warehouse space to improve efficiency, accessibility, and workflow.

• Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.

• Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement within warehouse operations.

• Ensure employees follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Address operational issues, identify solutions, and escalates concerns to the Transportation Manager when required.

Qualifications
