Job summary

Hagen Group in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement across receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping.

You’ll partner with the Warehouse Manager to maintain safety, accuracy, and on-time performance, while developing staff and implementing efficient processes that reduce waste and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling practices.
• Experience using WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse employees with clear direction and feedback.
• Foster a safe, accountable, and collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
• Coordinate receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping to meet schedules.
• Monitor workflow, adjust priorities, and allocate resources as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards.
• Track key metrics and prepare reports on productivity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams on goals and improvements.
• Support onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.

How You'll Be Contributing

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse employees by providing clear direction, regular feedback, and opportunities for development.

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor workflow throughout the shift, adjusting priorities and allocating resources to meet changing operational demands.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting ongoing inventory control initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and space utilization while helping implement practical solutions that enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards while promoting safe work practices at all times.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, address potential hazards, and support ongoing health and safety initiatives.
• Monitor key operational metrics and prepare reports related to productivity, inventory accuracy, and team performance.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to support operational goals, resolve challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Support employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management to help build a knowledgeable and engaged team.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience leading warehouse or distribution teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling practices.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives is considered an asset.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
