Job summary

Hagen Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement for safe and efficient performance.

You will oversee receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping while collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to build an engaged, high-performing team and maintain high operational standards to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading warehouse or distribution teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving and material handling.
  • Experience using WMS, ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse employees by providing clear direction, regular feedback, and opportunities for development.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are everyday priorities.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor workflow throughout the shift, adjusting priorities and allocating resources to meet changing operational demands.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting ongoing inventory control initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and space utilization while helping implement practical solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards while promoting safe work practices at all times.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, address potential hazards, and support ongoing health and safety initiatives.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and prepare reports related to productivity, inventory accuracy, and team performance.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to support operational goals, resolve challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management to help build a knowledgeable and engaged team.

Salary range: $60-70k commensurate with experience

What You'll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling practices.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
