Job summary

HERD is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Rogers, Minnesota warehouse team. You will oversee receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping to ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

As a coach and mentor, you will develop staff, participate in recruitment, manage inventory accuracy, and collaborate with Production, Supply Chain and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP software is an asset.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement is an asset.
• Must own safety boots.
• Reliable transportation; HERD is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping.
• Coordinate activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Coach, train, and support warehouse employees.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure shipping and receiving processes are efficient.
• Work with Production, Supply Chain, and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow.
• Organize warehouse space to improve efficiency.
• Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement.
