Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Billings, MT to lead a small, dedicated team of warehouse staff and customer service representatives.

The role oversees daily operations, inventory integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with account managers to resolve outages and expedite parts. The position requires strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and warehousing experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2 warehouse staff and 2 CSR reps daily.
• Oversee orders, returns, credits, and expediting reports; ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with Account Managers for outages and major parts purchases.
• Manage inventory in Billings, MT and Northern ID; train staff on procedures.
• Collaborate with trucking to schedule hauls and monitor costs.

Job Overview

The Customer Service / Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of two full-time warehouse employees and two full-time customer service representatives, overseeing daily operations and performance.

Key Job Responsibilities

Customer Service Responsibilities are as follows:

• Supervise and assist with prioritizing customer requests for quotes, bids and lead times.
• Oversee and train employees on policies and procedures for order entry, return good authorizations and credit memos, review expediting and open order reports.
• Evaluate customer orders to determine accuracy and evaluate components based on availability.
• Act as the liaison between the CSR’s and Account Managers/departments for major outages and parts purchases.
• Review order entry activity for proper data collection requirements

Warehouse Responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsible for inventory in Billings, MT and Northern ID.
• Oversee and train employees on policies and procedures.
• Assist with Inventory Cycle Count process in to ensure counts are done correctly and inventory moves are documented correctly.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse racking, the yard and main warehouses where parts are located.
• Functional backup for the Customer Service / Warehouse Supervisor counterpart.

Truck Driver Responsibilities are as follows:

• Work closely with Truck Driver to schedule and prioritize trucking needs and utilization.
• Work with truck driver on any maintenance costs as applicable.
• Be a liaison between all groups/regions when hauls need to be accomplished.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• SAP Experience is preferred but not required
• Warehousing experience 3-5 years
• Highly motivated, with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Mining and Construction industry experience or related OEM heavy manufacturing.
