Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. in Billings, MT seeks a Customer Service / Warehouse Supervisor to lead two warehouse staff and two customer service reps, ensuring efficient daily operations and performance.

You will supervise order entry, quotes, lead times, inventory, cycle counts and data integrity, while acting as a liaison for outages and parts purchases with Account Managers. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential; mining experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams.
• 3–5 years warehousing experience.
• Experience with order entry, returns, credit memos, and expediting.
• Mining/construction industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience is helpful for warehouse and CS processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with prioritizing customer requests for quotes, bids and lead times.
• Oversee and train employees on policies and procedures for order entry, return goods authorizations and credit memos, review expediting and open order reports.
• Evaluate customer orders to determine accuracy and evaluate components based on availability.
• Act as the liaison between the CSR's and Account Managers/departments for major outages and parts purchases.
• Review order entry activity for proper data collection requirements.
• Inventory in Billings, MT and Northern ID; oversee and train employees on policies and procedures.
• Assist with Inventory Cycle Count to ensure counts are correct and inventory moves are documented.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse racking, the yard and main warehouses where parts are located.
• Functional backup for the Customer Service / Warehouse Supervisor counterpart.
• Schedule trucking needs and collaborate with truck driver on maintenance costs.
• Be a liaison between all groups/regions when hauls need to be accomplished.

The Customer Service /Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of two full-time warehouse employees and two full-time customer service representatives, overseeing daily operations and performance.

Key Job Responsibilities

Customer Service Responsibilities are as follows:

Warehouse Responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsible for inventory in Billings, MT and Northern ID.
• Oversee and train employees on policies and procedures.
• Assist with Inventory Cycle Count process in to ensure counts are done correctly and inventory moves are documented correctly.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse racking, the yard and main warehouses where parts are located.
• Functional backup for the Customer Service / Warehouse Supervisor counterpart.

Truck Driver Responsibilities are as follows:

• Work closely with Truck Driver to schedule and prioritize trucking needs and utilization.
• Work with truck driver on any maintenance costs as applicable.
• Be a liaison between all groups/regions when hauls need to be accomplished.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• SAP Experience is preferred but not required
• Warehousing experience 3-5 years
• Highly motivated, with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Mining and Construction industry experience or related OEM heavy manufacturing.
