The Warehouse Specialist coordinates shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials, stages materials and equipment for technicians, and supports customer relations by organizing and pulling materials.

Responsibilities

1. Ensures materials are pulled and organized for scheduled jobs.
2. Prepares equipment and materials for transport and staging.
3. Stocks service vehicles with required parts.
4. Coordinates and performs delivery of materials to job sites.
5. Inspects and signs out parts and equipment to technicians.
6. Receives incoming shipments, verifies invoices, and distributes or warehouses items.
7. Prepares and coordinates shipments and warranty returns.
8. Maintains equipment catalogs, price files, and specifications.
9. Operates forklift to move materials and unload trucks.
10. Assists in loading trucks and coordinates shipping.
11. Orders supplies and maintains inventory control documentation.
12. Performs regular inventory checks.
13. Completes documentation and purchase orders.
14. Organizes storage of tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
15. Coordinates repair and purchase of technician tools.
16. Organizes warehouse to meet changing needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; related experience or training may substitute.
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license required; commercial license may be needed.
• EPA refrigerant recovery certification and OSHA Forklift license may be required depending on location.
