Ryder System, Inc. in Owensboro, KY is hiring two Warehouse Supervisors for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The roles are salaried, with a $60,000 annual pay, and shifts include 6pm to 6am blocks; one schedule runs Sun–Tues/Wed and the other Thurs–Sat/Wed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0-1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations and staff.
• Plan and review processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate shift activities.
• Be accountable for site KPI performance.
• Collaborate with customers on operations and meet objectives.
• Conduct regular team meetings and coach individuals.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recognize achievements.
• Address performance issues through corrective action.
• Implement health, safety and security initiatives and policies.
• Orient and equip Lead Hands with necessary tools and information.
