Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC, located in Lancaster, TX, is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise and develop a team across 2nd and 4th shifts with hours from 3:30pm to 2:00am and 4:00pm to 4:00am respectively. The role focuses on safety, scheduling, and daily operational excellence in pallet management logistics.

The Shift Lead will coordinate with the On-Site Manager, assist with recruitment, ensure HR policies are followed, and manage loads, equipment checks, and quality checks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am

4th Shift: Friday - Sunday 4:00pm - 4:00am

What You'll Do

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
