Job summary

Relogistics in Houston, TX is seeking a Shift Lead to maximize team productivity during each shift while upholding top safety standards. The role offers hourly pay and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

You will work with the On-Site Manager to plan shifts, assist in recruiting and developing staff, ensure HR and safety policies are followed, and handle material movement and equipment checks as needed. This position requires forklift certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$21.50/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
